ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The recognition follows a community-wide voting process that generated more than 14,000 nominations and nearly 34,000 votes across 57 categories celebrating organizations throughout the Greater Rochester region.

For Palmer Food Services, the award is a reflection of the people who have built the company’s culture over its 176-year history.

Founded in 1850, Palmer Food Services is one of the region’s largest independent, family-owned foodservice distributors, serving restaurants, healthcare providers, educational institutions, hospitality operators, and retailers throughout Upstate New York.
