Palmer portion cut meat helps minimize waste and control food costs while maintaining consistency, satisfaction, and safety.

Safe processing Safety standards at the highest levels

For independent restaurant owners and chefs who prioritize consistency and quality in their ingredients, Palmer Foods offers accurately portioned meat products to help minimize waste and ensure precise food costs. Our expert meat cutters hand-sort products by size to guarantee consistency in appearance, especially when serving the same cut to multiple customers. Our scales are checked daily and calibrated as necessary to ensure accuracy in size and weight. And as one of the country’s most recognized distributors of Certified Angus Beef®, rest assured knowing that portion-cut consistency is driving quality to the center of the plate.

We also use state-of-the-art packaging machinery to individually wrap or bulk pack our products, which saves you labor and material disposal costs. Our vacuum packaging and sanitation processes allow you to store our products for up to 21 days under the right conditions, ensuring that you don’t have to worry about spoilage and lost product.

Standards that set us apart

At Palmer, we understand the importance of safe processing, which is why we’re under a rigorous auditing schedule by the USDA due to the volume of meat we handle. To further ensure the safety of our products, we have a USDA inspector onsite daily. Additionally, we hold certification for the SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing and Storage & Distribution. SQF (Safe Quality Foods) is a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) internationally recognized food safety management system that fortifies commitment to supply safe quality products and comply with food safety legislation.
