Palmer Foods is consistently recognized as one of the nation's leading independent distributors of Certified Angus Beef® brand products.

When compared side-by-side, the ten exacting specifications behind every cut of Certified Angus Beef® are more likely to outperform USDA Select, Choice, or even Prime alone.

Marbling, the small flecks of fat within the beef, is the main contributor of juiciness, flavor and tenderness. Beef with more marbling can be cooked to higher temperatures and still be juicy.

USDA Prime, Choice, or Select?

Various marbling specifications; USDA Select and the majority of USDA Choice do not contain enough marbling to qualify for the Certified Angus Beef® brand.

Is Rancher-Owned and Led

When the visionary farmers started the brand in 1978, they wanted to deliver a better cut of beef and pave a future for their farms. Since then, generations of family farmers and ranchers have continued to fulfill that mission by sustainably raising beef to a higher standard.

Supports Local Communities

When you purchase the Certified Angus Beef ® brand, you help us sustain more farmers and ranchers than any other brand of beef. How? Ranchers who raise beef that qualifies for the brand receive a higher premium, providing them with more opportunities to take care of their cattle and land, and keep both for the next generation.

Goes Beyond the Beef

Animal care and protecting the environment play key roles in the success of every small-town farm and ranch. To aid ranches impacted by natural disasters, like floods and wildfires, there’s the Rural Relief Fund. Sustainable farming also includes passing ranches on to the next generation, which is why the Colvin Scholarship Fund has awarded more than $300,000 to agriculture’s hardest working students.

A successful business has to be sustainable, and sustainable farming extends those obligations to the environment itself.
